one thing that frustrates me about windows, despite not being nearly the biggest of its problems, is how unresponsive it's flyouts are. just show a little bar on the screen that tells me what i just changed my volume to. why is this so hard. why is it perpetually five seconds behind and then hangs around on screen an inconsistent amount of time?
and the worst part is, most of the dogshit parts of windows i can replace, but none of the flyout replacements are any better!
huh, i don't have that. my volune thing shows instantly. the annoying bit for me is when i want to click something under it but i hover over it and it decides to stay so i have to go find a blank part of it to click on to make it go away so i can click what i wanted to
i guess on linux it was the same but it dissapeared instantly instead of fading out so i couldn't accidentally hover it as it was fading away and it didn't have any interactable bits so i could click anywhere to close it
