tried to comfort my woes by finding my family's old china sets only to discover they got rid of NEARLY EVERY SET...... we had NINE SETS...... and they kept the ugly ones weeps
Not all is lost our Haviland set in Schleiger 844 thankfully got kept!!
This was one of our newer sets w the backstamp dating it from 1937-56 (this is haviland’s 3rd newest backstamp, they changed it in 57 and 67 but I believe it’s stayed the same since then!)
I could potentially narrow down that date further but I’ve never been able to figure out the green numbers, they seem to be production numbers but no backstamp database I’ve found mentions them
