new (public!) treat build next week. i've mentioned this to my patrons before, but the reason i wanted to update the release build is because i made it easier to access the extra content. it will still be a while before the rest of chapter 8 is finished, and i didn't want to make current/new players wait until the end of the year for this quality-of-life thing. so i'm aiming to get the patron-only build done by friday (which contains a little more chapter 8 stuff) then drop the public update at the end of the month (without the chapter 8 stuff)

it's only the start of it (about the same length as the start of bad end 2) but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA that's the only new story content that will be in the public build... it's what makes it worth releasing.......
