10 years later, i can tell you 30 is plenty early even if i do wish i could have just skipped first puberty. still worth it. sooner is better but never is fatal.

i started hrt at 28 and thought it was too late. i'm 35 now and i feel so lucky for starting when i did. it's never too late, y'all

I'm a cis guy so I don't really have a personal stake in this, but to my understanding the logic to transitioning "late" at life is the same as getting a college degree; people would ask "why would I do it in my 30s, I'm going to be nearly forty with a diploma" and the reply would be "You're going to be forty anyway, might as well be one with a degree"

I guess the reply here would be "you're going to be 40 anyway, might as well be one with titties/chest hair"
