Managed to get my workout in before work today, WFH stays winning. Everything went fine except I had to lower the OHP weight to 130lbs, which isn't a surprise considering I've been off for over a week and OHP is a tricky lift when you're close to maximum.
Xrd practice session went well. Felt like Just Enough Gaming, long enough that I could get into a groove but not so long that I felt like I was losing focus.
Experimented with a different hit confirming drill that I think will help me be more disciplined about making progress towards the corner. That's the #1 thing I'm working on right now, think there are a lot of little things I can tighten up to get the opponent in the blender more consistently than how I normally play. Also got to play Pepsi's Potemkin for a bit at the end, that was fun.
Tried out a different combo route off of Gamma Blade that gives me more useful oki options than the one I'm usually using, but it's a little bit more finicky about spacing.
Stuff to work on next time -- TK alpha corner route (cS 5H TK alpha cS jD alpha uncling alpha) to see if that works the way I think it will.
