I actually had my wisdom teeth removed over the span of a few years until 2021, one at a time rather than all at once.
As such I didn't really need to be knocked out so I was awake for all my wisdom teeth removals.(I still got anesthetic ofc!!)
Anesthetic made it feel as though the tooth was just being jostled out really, dentist packed my rancid wisdom teeth and lemme keep em!
My dentist would ask questions throughout each time which was hilarious bc I could only make affirming grunts.
Only on one occasion was the removal so rough it left me sore for over a week, everything else left merely an odd feeling gap and a dull pain for a day, dentist remarked that he chipped a tiny bit of my jawbone along with the tooth one time.
Eventually the holes left behind fill back up like it's no big deal, but I'd recommend you keep water handy because food can and will get stuck there until then.
thank u for the advice....im glad you had a cool dentist who let you keep your fangs bc i want the same lol. like i dont know how to explain it but i wanna see wtf was giving me shit (tbh only one of the wisdom teeth is busted but the others are of dental concern so we're knocking them out too)
i will def be keeping many safe liquids handy, i also have a prescription mouthwash they gave me thats supposed to be super good to keeping dry socket at bay
pray they let me keep my bastard fangs
