So I'm trying to iron out the LAST issue with my computer after installing linux which seems to be fan control.
I have an MSI laptop, and from what I've read, everything indicates I need the ec_sys module, but it doesn't appear to be included in the Fedora 38 workstation build. I've checked the 3 kernel versions I have (6.5.4, 6.5.5 and 6.5.6) and none have this extension.
What is the process for remedying this? I figure I'm going to have to compile a kernel with this module, but I've been struggling to find some clear directions on the process. Any assistance would be appreciated.
