I propped my camera up on a very small fence and managed to get stabilized well enough to get a clear shot at 1/3 of a second exposure

oh wow. I've only been to the chinese garden and assumed that the japanese one was about the same scale... I need to go visit this now.
it's big! I highly recommend it, especially with the leaves changing for autumn
