You wouldn't think by looking at him that this would be a big draw, but Brooklyn has gone crazy these past two days for a Swainson's Warbler being very accommodating and hanging out all day in the same spot by Pier 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Having seen a report from early in the morning I decided to head over in the mid-afternoon on a lark and hey guess what. He was still there. What a king.
and don't believe the propaganda: the mid-afternoon bird also gets the worm.
