Someone in another chat said they could see it in northern Mexico and I was like “you’re fucking with me right?” So I went out and LOOK! PURPLE!!
I’m all the way down here in the LA area the northern sky has this faint purplish glowing band that seems to shimmer somewhat. I thought I’d never see the aurora. The fact I can see it down here and under a light-polluted suburban sky is telling of its strength.
One day I’ll get a real good look at it. I already have my heart set on Canada.
