@MrDrugs69 asked:

What does your art block tend to look like? How do you usually work around your art block?

I struggle with this with writing and I would love to know what you do that gets you back out

I feel like my art block is weird because I go through periods where I want to draw but I can’t and then I just Don’t and it’s not helpful at all ekndkdnfkdnckd I wanted to give some insightful information but honestly I’m still in the trenches LEMME KNOW IF YOU FIND SOMETHING THAT WORKS

I wonder if you actually hit on it in the tags? Structure does help me, too.

For a while, before I bought my house and dedicated my life to hammering things back into place, I was making myself voice record a story prompt every day. It worked really well, I have over 40 of them transcribed now! Even started to write one of them.

The interruption to my routine took me away from it, though.

True! I really enjoy being in spaces where other people are also creating, it makes me miss university studio classes so much (aside from some classmate’s pretention) I’m literally ALWAYS lamenting not having a space like that anymore. Maybe one day
