I don’t remember what it’s called anymore but there used to be this website that I would go on while I studied back in like 2012-2013 and I was obsessed with it because it was basically like….an online communal DJ space. Basically, you could upload any songs you wanted or add any that they already had in their system and there were all these rooms that were different genres of music and people would take turns going up on the stage and curating music based on the genre. It was so fun because I found a bunch of music that I never would have discovered otherwise and there was a little chat section so people could talk if they wanted, plus you had these little avatars that you could dress up. They ended up changing the site to some live music venue thing and it basically tanked but I miss that format 😭

Yes I think so!!! My memory is so hazy but yeah I miss having a music site like that. I’m sure it would be a big mess to do something like that nowadays because of licensing etc etc but man what a different time
