i fall into this all the time. not just leaving social spaces, but also wiping out random accounts from sites i maybe rarely use, but still have an outward facing component. trying to disappear from all search results, basically.
yea.. i think it's kinda natural to want to be recognised, Known and Understood in a personal way. i think its up to u to figure out how u want to manage that feeling, i tend to temporarily isolate myself when i'm not feeling good and try to reach out to friends when i can
