Usually with the US-centric stuff it's mostly when it gets to the holidays and you see all the christmas pine trees and winter-related merch and media while sitting in front of a fan drenched in sweat
With japanese media it happens when you watch seasonal anime and depicting the inaka summer while freezing cold but you'll still tempted to say... "atsui desu ne..."
