i've had this problem so many years in a row that this year i decided to keep a notes document with a list of every game i played (and added a note in parentheses if i finished it). i highly recommend it, it's been fun to look back through and remember where/when i was when i played all of them (and it also gives me the extra benefit of being able to give stuff a second look if i got distracted and didn't finish it)
