The ecstatic delight of getting a CF to IDE adapter installed, burning a disc image, and getting Mac OS 8.6 up and running on the PowerBook G3 Lombard I recently obtained, only to be followed by the crushing defeat of realizing the keyboard is just broken enough to be effectively useless (entire number row, return/enter, apostrophe/quote, right and up arrow keys all unresponsive), and that it's due to a common and known issue of fragile traces on the keyboard PCB, and because of that the only listing I can find on the entire internet for a keyboard for this thing is $99 from DV Warehouse ๐
