My perennial feature request is for Google to add an option to prioritize protected turns at lighted intersections. So many times it has taken me down a road where I have to take an unprotected turn onto a main street, even though there's a lighted intersection one street over, because Google decided since this street was "closer" to my destination it would be faster, but instead I sit at that street for ten minutes waiting for an opening.
