I use outdated technology just for fun, listen to crappy music, and watch a lot of horror movies. Expect posts about These Things. I talk a lot.
Check tags like Star Trek Archive and Media Piracy to find things I share for others.
or some more days than that if I choose to wait for the locally released discs for consistency of spine!
Ah, I forgot about regions, haha. Well, none of them are great films anyways, I'm sure it's best to wait.
Though I'm sure you can agree with me on choosing to buy each of them individually instead of the slightly cheaper multi-pack so you can get the nice poster art cover for each film.
I'm not as yet sure which variants are coming out locally TBH, I may not have a choice. TBH what I currently have is the 4-pack of the first 4 films, 5 and 6 as individuals, and then I had to import the 3-disc funny packaging set of TMP from the US as it wasn't released locally. Also: the local releases of the 4k discs are 4k only so I'm having to keep my blurays for the extras.
And my set of the 4ks for the Kelvin films is a UK import because that was the cheapest way.
Look, I'm in mixed-up region mess land.
Man, I seriously considered the big "Complete Adventure" TMP box set or whatever they called it, but I can't justify spending that much just for an art book and the ability to own the "Special Longer Version" on 4K, an objectively worse version of the film in every way.
I have a bit of a "get everything" attitude for trek so I kinda had to get it haha. I think it was actually the first version of the film I saw, on VHS!
also off-topic but I have enjoyed getting to talk physical media with you, do you have a preferred messaging app or shall we continue to do so in comments sections? ;)
Either or, haha! My Telegram is aependell and my Discord is (currently) Pendell#5338
I added your discord although I think you need to accept for me to message you
