I don't think Reading Rainbow would have been nearly as popular if the intro didn't go as unnecessarily hard as fuck as it did.
One thing that I loved about the show is that they liked to make episodes about how it or other shows (ie TNG) were made. I had this clip saved up for a digression on what the Fairlight actually was, but I see no reason not to post it now.
It's on my Telegram channel, but I've decided to also upload it to Vimeo to try and share it in the best quality I can manage. LeVar is a national treasure, to be sure.
