Current Hyperfixation: Wizard of Oz

I use outdated technology just for fun, listen to crappy music, and watch a lot of horror movies. Expect posts about These Things. I talk a lot.

Check tags like Star Trek Archive and Media Piracy to find things I share for others.

I want to bypass FRP on this perfectly functional S20 5G I found in a box being thrown out by my neighbors, but the only ways to do this seem to be either paying the folks at XDA like $30 or using some very shady looking windows apps from unknown sources. I'll probably go that route but I don't fancy running that stuff on my main machine...

It also involves installing random ass drivers so it might be simpler to run a copy of Windows off a USB stick. In which case does anyone know the best method to get a bootable version of Windows 10 onto a USB stick (biggest one I have rn is 64GB that should be enough for this basic task right)

unfortunately for this (hardware) - virtualbox or vmware player, install windows off the ISO off the internet may be your best bet, without going all the way to dual boot or a second disk. (if that can still be done with the USB stick though, that'd work, I remember loving windows2go as a feature back in the 8.x days, but not using it all that much, admittedly.)

some editions of windows have a sandbox but it's hyper-v based and you can't pass USB through to it.
