thinkin' about how for non space intensive tasks like word processing, floppy disks are not only still a perfectly viable storage option, but are in fact still overkill, even with the latest software with all the bells and whistles. Have you ever tried to make a .docx or .odt file exceed 1.44mb? Have you ever tried to make it exceed 500kb? 100kb? It's surprisingly difficult. I can write 20 pages of rich formatted text and it's like 36kb.
