Hey y’all sorry to ask for help again but something came out I forgot about that put me in the negative and I got hit with a few NSF fees, I still have some bills coming up in a few days so I’m hoping to get decently into the positive like $100 or so, anything helps thank you

It sucks and I hate it, my account was only overdrafted by like $6 but they hit me with two $35 fees because it was two separate charges
I bank with Chase and it's optional with them whether they'll fine me or just decline the charge. I opt for them to just decline, but I find it Extremely Bullshit that they want to push you towards it and call it "Overdraft Protection" when it's not protecting anything, it's just regular shitty overdraft fees but they're trying to sell it like it's a nice service they provide.
Chime calls it "spot me", and even lets people "earn" overdraft limits or even share them with other people, incentivizing others to use it to. It's insidious.
Oh yeah I was bombarded by ads for their card for a month or so ago and even though I couldn't tell precisely what kind of vicious scam they were pulling, I could smell the moldy feces boiling under the surface of their way too bright and peppy ads.
Chime is a bank, don't get me wrong; it's the closest thing to Simple since PNC bought them for scrap and shut them down.
But it's VERY clear how they're trying to squeeze money from customers. Overdrafts & credit lines.
I have all that stuff turned off. Great bank. Scummy marketing.
Those tend to have minimum starting deposits though in my experience and are pretty inaccessible to the impoverished. 🙃
