Don't really have a white whale that isn't a beige whale tbh, there's not many Things that I'd want that arent just some form of outdated electronics. A nice CRT would be a good one. All the ones around me are either overpriced or just never available to actually come pickup and buy from the person for one reason or another and I'm not mail ordering one off the internet unless it's NIB with the factory strofoam or something.
One of those Sony flash-based DV recorders that could do DV, DVCAM, and HDV (idk why they included DVCAM since once it's in a file container on a computer, there is no practical difference between DV and DVCAM, I think Sony just wanted professionals to know it was okay for them to use it or something). And then a camcorder of all three of those varieties to pair with it. I'd be shooting for ages...
Beyond that? I don't really have super expensive material desires. No cars I really want or anything? I suppose white whale means something more than just material wants but I can't think of it right now.
Whatever my beige whale is depends on the month, my special interests revolve on a cycle.
