Getting closer to completing my HD Who collection (Series 5 onwards). I also have Series 8, 9, 10, and the Twice Up on A Time 4K on the way.
Vaguely interesting that The Day of the Doctor is a 3D Blu-ray. And theoretically I have all the hardware to get the 3D experience - my Sony X800M2 supports 3D playback, my parents' old TV in the garage is one of those 3D TVs that were a temporary fad, I think we still have the glasses in a drawer somewhere. I could hook it all up and get that 3D experience... but, like, I'm not going to do that, because I don't care, and it's way too much effort for a novelty. Gee, I wonder why that 3D fad didn't take off...
Also interesting that The Time of the Doctor has only ever been released as a pack that includes Matt Smith's other 3 Christmas specials. Never been released on its own or as part of any season set. So now I own those 3 Christmas specials twice. I honestly would've expected Day and Time to have just gotten a single release together, but I guess the BBC knows better how to squeeze as much money out of the fans as possible ;D
Seriously debating whether I even want to buy any Chibnall stuff on disc, even just for completionist's sake. Mostly because the price for each season goes up dramatically - Series 10 was like $27, Series 11 would be $40! Why? Did the BBC stop producing the discs for Series 11 or something? Or because it's (barely) still the "current" Doctor so the season prices are higher? idk. It's a hard sell for me to want to willingly buy Series 11 for that much money. Maybe if the price goes down or I can find a better deal elsewhere...
