the original Stargate film continues to amaze me in how straight it plays everything right up until the reveal of the big alien space travel portal. i think it would be fun to sit some kid who loves sci-fi down and not tell them what movie it is and make them sit through those first 20 minutes bored out of their minds and then watch as Everything Changes... mostly because that was my first experience with it lol.

it never occurred me that one would have to import La-La Land CDs x.x They're worth it though! Some of the best OST discs out there.
Haha, that's why you gotta be picky about which ones you buy. These are mostly just obvious buys (like, yeah, if you collect OST CDs, you gotta have most of John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith's work, duh) filling in the gaps in my collection, but this purchase was itself spurred by me seeing their Wrath of Khan OST was back in stock. Last time I visited the site I wanted to buy TMP and TWoK together but TWoK was listed as "temporarily out of stock".
