i don't know if it's just a me thing but i still cannot get into Philosophy Tube's stuff. Not accusing her of any wrongness or failings but Abigail Thorn just annoys me as a speaker. The overblown costumes and poses in every video just feels like a patronizing lure to make you pay attention - reminds me of the Margot Robbie bit in The Big Short except you have to watch her for over an hour and are expected to take her genuinely seriously.
And you know someone's videos are just Not Gonna Work For You when the way they move their mouth is annoying. Idk she does this thing where she really enunciates a word every couple of sentences and like stretches out her lips like she's doing some kind of oral exercise and augh yeah sorry Abby I can't watch more than five minutes of this, gonna be honest everything about your Style was so distracting I missed half of what you were saying for those five minutes anyways :p
Nothing against her as a person I'm sure her videos are cool and I'm clearly in the minority in considering her stuff really obnoxious but yeah.
Don't worry I'm not turning this page into a ranty thing I just tried to watch her most recent video after not having sampled her stuff in years and realized my opinion has not changed (despite ME having changed significantly in the same span of time)
