I spent the weekend with my dad (probably one of the last chill weekends I'll get for a while now) and before I left he gave me some cash as a show of support after losing my job, and after putting that in my checking account it looks about the same as my checking account normally looks after a normal week at the job I don't have anymore and for some reason that made me cry again.
I haven't heard anything back from the bookstore I applied at so tomorrow I'll call them. Good chance ZipRecruiter or some other automated filtering system just threw my application out before it ever reached the people working at that store. If they haven't received it, I'll fill out the paper one on their website and bring it to them in person. That'll be a good look, right? I won't get looked at like I just stepped off a spaceship, will I? Who knows!
