I mentioned in a previous entry in this series that I was curious about Fuji's discontinued high-speed pro film NPZ800 based on playing around with its LUT profile when editing digital photos, so when I saw a few 220 rolls with an early-aughts expiry at a reasonable price I decided to take a chance on them.
I'm not actually a big fan of longer rolls because I don't shoot professionally or continuously on film, and the more shots on a roll the more I'm inclined to rush it to finish or the longer it sits in the camera undeveloped.
A roll of 220 is 24 frames in my 6x6 camera which is just about the sweet spot for a 35mm roll but with unmetered exposure, finnicky focusing, etc of shooting my C330 it can really take a while to find 24 things worth shooting and also get them shot.
Not that everything ending up on this roll was "worth shooting" but hey that's the beauty of a test roll—I have an excuse to take really boring shots, too.
Anyway the film seems fine! Two more of these in the freezer waiting for me now.
