listen I know it's all cynical marketing bullshit but dbrand's specific flavor of cynical marketing bullshit works on me because it's really, really funny. there's something nice about a company just being honest and eschewing the usual meaingless corporate speak in favor of something with at least a little bit of spice and life to it. sure, the idea is for you to develop a parasocial relationship with a brand as uncaring as any other, but the best part is if you told them that was their goal, they'd probably look you in the eye and say "Yes, that's the idea."
any company that makes an email footer joke is worth it.
