I love not being able to use my new phone because the case I ordered at the same time is still in shipping, because dbrand (nothing on them specifically, I've had like 3 things I ordered recently do this) used a company called "OSM Worldwide" which from what I can tell is just "normal USPS service except another company takes a week and a half to give the package to USPS"

i had the same happen a couple years ago. i was afraid to even touch the thing since the back and sides were the slipperiest damn anodized aluminum ive ever felt. or maybe it just seemed that way relative to how much it cost/ put me in debt...
Yeah this phone cost $1,300 and even though I paid for insurance on it I'm not too interested in putting it to the test. The sides may be titanium but the back is aaaaall glass just begging to be shattered lol.
didn't realise they did the apple thing with the glass back. i've been sort of avoiding looking at any current phone developments while i'm still paying off the current one, just in case they come out with something i'd actually want lol. but like most people what i want is headphone jacks back.... and also a jog wheel on the side for scrolling webpages and adjusting camera settings
Ah haha I mentally included the price of the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the cost of the phone haha. I don't mind the dongle life really - just keep the dongle connected to your headphones. And I really don't ever find myself wanting to charge and listen on wired headphones at the same time. If my phone needs to charge I usually just stop using it for a while 😂
