The Tsuranga Conundrum was a perfectly fine episode. No massive writing blunders, there's a thematic throughline with Ryan remembering his absentee father and encouraging another soon-to-be-father, the Pting is a fun little one-off monster. A bit paint by numbers Doctor Who, but that's better than being bad. The most 6/10 episode I've ever seen.
Though I must wonder if the sonic mine that the Doctor directly comments was planted there like a trap is ever going to come up again. Probably not. "It's a space scrapyard, people just leave weird shit about." I guess.
