Kill Bill (Volumes 1 & 2) - imo Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece, a loving tribute to Japanese cinema of the 70s and Westerns and so much other crazy stuff, insanely fun beginning to end.
Better Off Dead - Deeply underrated goofy, cartoonish 80s teen comedy with a young John Cusack, everyone in this movie acts completely insane and it operates on a surreal heightened reality that can make even the most mundane daily life scenarios iconic comedy bits that live rent free in my brain. Strangely feels like a parody of 80s teen comedies while being one, fascinating product of its time.
Clue - if you've never seen Clue, you owe it to yourself. You don't have to have played the board game - I never have! Watch it for Tim Curry as the butler, at the very least.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - It feels impossible that this came out in 2018 and is now 6 years old???
North by Northwest - I actually haven't watched this one yet but I need to, lol. Yes, I ripped, subtitled, encoded, and uploaded a movie I haven't watched yet.
Poor Things - er, same story. My parents watched this and described it as "glorified pornography" so 🤷 it's got Willem Dafoe so I will be watching it.
Psycho Goreman - the most 6 or 7 out of 10 movie ever made, not great but really charming and fun in its cheapness and commitment to its bit. I still can't tell if the kid actors are annoying or fun. Which is a good sign! The dad is my favorite character.
Something Wicked This Way Comes - Jonathan Pryce plays Mr. Dark, ringleader of a fucked up fae circus, Ray Bradbury wrote the screenplay himself and somehow Disney made this movie and it's really great, iconic spooky autumn vibes and father-son bonding saves the day.
