If I want to watch a show or movie these days my first instinct is no longer to look for a streaming service it's on, but rather to look for a blu-ray or DVD. I'm just so disgusted by these corporations I'd rather the inconvenience of paying more for each individual piece of media thank you very much.

In my experience pirated copies are always horribly recompressed. And I quite enjoy special features.
I will resort to piracy if it's some out of print movie that scalpers think they can sell a 10 year old DVD of for $100 haha
