i found this guy on a web page about a miserable little canon computer that was mostly popular in france and finland. he's the mascot for the XP-140 monitor/assembler ROM/RAM card, apparently. this is the only image of him online. his card provides memory management BASIC routines and 4 kilobytes of additional RAM

Canon seemed to like their little mascots back in the 80s, I wrote a blog post some time ago about one of their thermal typewriters and this little guy was in the manual
