this comic page has a close up on the bat's tired expression.. before zooming out and revealing she is now on what appears to be a train, presumably heading back home. she is surrounded by others who are chatting, but her expression is tired, blank. the final shot on this page is a few trains going on a bridge over a large body of water at night.

i really like this!!!
the world feels like a sort of inversion of your king deer/bravocat one where, instead of human bodies with artificial animal faces, it's human faces with.... still apparently very real animal bodies?????
