I made a cover for the Maj7 cover ring! The original was "Bit Chill" by Claire

I've never covered a song before so it was a challenge but it was a lot of fun! I really loved the vibes of the original and ended up with something that reminded me of taking a walk when it's a bit cold out. I had fun with the instrumentation; I normally do a lot of sample based stuff but it's more minimal here as I was really trying to capture aspects I really liked about the original melody.

Comic where Tenoid (another iteration of my sona) is having an existential crisis basically, yelling that he's dying and everything is over. Nandoid is on a couch reading a newspaper. He folds the newspaper and bonks Tenoid on the head with a tiny hammer. Tenoid is knocked out and Nandoid continues reading the newspaper.

doodle image where Nandoid and Tenoid appear to be in a decrepit barricaded room. The room's door has a bunch of locks, furniture in front of it, a window and other door seemed to be super boarded up. Nandoid is sitting on a small stool twiddling his thumbs, facing away from Tenoid who is on the ground with an axe through his head, bleeding, though seems to be in a 'relaxed' pose, one leg over the other, his arms behind his head, as if just laying down. Tenoid's expression is kind of blank, Nandoid's expression is neutral.

Next two images are an image sequence/comic (as opposed to the previous image which was stand-alone)

Comic, panel 1: Tenoid is pointing to something mostly offscreen. He seems full of contempt as he says to it "You must think you're so cool, huh?" Nandoid is on a couch reading a newspaper. Panel 2: close up to Nandoid, who looks down from the newspaper to look over at Tenoid, who is still speaking. Tenoid is saying "Well, too bad 'cuz I'm on to you!"

Comic, panel 3: the camera cans to show that Tenoid is talking to Delloid who appears to be gravely injured and unmoving, face down on the ground, bleeding from a wound on his head. Panel 4: Tenoid is rolling his eyes and crossing his arms, as if immensely irritated. He is saying, "UGH! You're so predictable!" as Nandoid lifts the newspaper back up a bit, seeming shocked and afraid at what he's witnessing.
