Just-frozen gravel quarry tailings lake after a five-inch snowfall. The lake is pale blue, the sky a more vivid blue. There are few clouds in the sky.

A few dust-trails of snow are visible on the edge of the lake's ice.

The sun is bright in an almost-cloudless sky, and is reflected in the ice in a broad band ranging from the far shore to the edge of the frame.

Snow recently cleared from the alley behind the old strip mall. Snow sits on the cinderblock eaves of the line of stores.

#had to use the inline image trick and add some CSS b/c it's rotating my images AGAIN

My iPod’s HDR desperately trying to make a sense of a shot where I accidentally set my exposure to capture the reflected sunlight.
