Gaming Piece, Early 20th Century
Recovered from Sloop Island Canal Boat
Families found many ways to entertain themselves during long voyages through the canal and on Lake Champlain. This gaming piece, part of a larger set of checkers or a similar game, was enjoyed by many people on board the Sloop Island Canal Boat before it sank in the early twentieth century.
