Hello Cohost, and welcome to the blog! I've been doing a lot of drawing, worldbuilding, and oc-posting over on twitter, but I've been thinking for a while about just having a whole blog for everything, and I thought cohost seemed like the perfect place. Everything that's gonna be covered on this blog is in the description, and I will be uploading content Whenever I Can and going in what would be chronological "game order" if this was an actual pokemon game or rom hack.
I first decided I wanted to do my own fakemon fan region I thiiink around when XY/the early 3D games came out, and then spent the most time developing it when Sun/Moon were the new hotness and SWSH was just about to come out. As such there will probably be some things more in common with older installments of the franchise (I did not play sun/moon until a bought a 3DS like right before it got discontinued and I still haven't played SWSH or XY), but it's pretty malleable and I just kinda continue to add onto what I have dubbed "The Periusverse" as I go.
Anyway, here are some old fake box art mock ups I made a while back. I meant to do these in the style of the GBA/DS games, but they look more like romhack art than anything official. I've been meaning to touch them up and/or take a crack art doing art in the style of the SWSH box art, but due to being busy with work and other life stuff the nature of this blog is that a lot of the art will probably be a little old and pretty simple (flat-colored pieces as opposed to fully-rendered illustrations with shading), but that's okay and we like it that way here.
In another dimension is a world much like our own, but with nothing you've ever seen before. Stories that may feel familiar or nostalgic, but with characters you've never met before.
