Tina's "double life" as a Pokemon trainer has been more than just running around on the route, but rather maintaining her spot as the Perius League's top champion. Despite being concerned about what her strict mother thinks of her career choice, both of her parents are ultimately very proud when they find out what she's been up to, and just want to be able to be a part of her life though all the ups and the downs.
Tina is, of course, very passionate about pokemon, but prefers to learn about them from more of a hands-on perspective than her parents. She has a very adventurous spirit, wanting to explore throughout the Pokemon World and catch Pokemon from every region, and her willingness to take risks and persevere is how she got strong enough to be a champion in the first place.
