a nice thing about posting here instead of Twitter is that nobody has replied with "oh, even if I'm dying? you support assaulting dying people??? because they refused to be ignored by the system?????"

I would rather sit and wait patiently, bleeding, than push that bell button. I'm just like....never going to push that. Even if no one is in the room. Can't even fathom doing it with someone sitting there.
it's okay to do it (once) if no one is there, sometimes their workflow requires them to be in the back room all the time except when someone comes in and dings.
