Apparently it was the first coaster that company designed, which explains somewhat. Still wouldn't want to be the maintenance folks in charge of doing track checks on it.
why was my first thought "accidental euthanasia coaster"
More like "the train stalls in the apex of the loop", since the loop was originally designed too large
If you're lucky!
If you're not, it stops exactly in the apex of the loop and you get to hang in there until someone comes with a cherry picker to get you out
the fact they can do this is pretty cool at least. fucked up your calculations? you can just zoop
From Wikipedia: "The design for Texas Tornado was scribbled on a napkin at a cocktail party at a trade show."
