Honestly I feel a little bad how much I picked on her; yeah she was kind of sex-negative but there's so many worse things in the world than a trans-inclusive radical feminist who was mostly speaking to women who were getting out of abusive relationships and needed to hear "if you consented under pressure, don't blame yourself" much more than they needed to hear "but when you do want it, there's no better value per gallon than powdered veterinary lube..." in that moment in their lives.
I was kind of a dumb kid (at, like, 26...) and I was mostly just using her as a foil to work out my own ideas, and I think maybe she understood that more than I did at the time. I hope so.
