So in Rune Factory 4 it opens with you on an airship and it gives you two ways to react

Or
- Wow! I'm so high up!
I chose the second one and the game says
This choice will make you a female character

It's great. In Japanese it was a choice between sentences with different gendered first-person pronouns, which English doesn't have, and I can just feel the translator flailing
interesting to know that it was a lot... i dunno, less weird feeling in the original language. i remember starting that game and realizing immediately what the dialogue choices were supposed to represent and just going ugh internally
