I love meeting people at meetups! However, I don’t understand how people can focus on a convo when there are 10 others happening right next to each other at all times. All of my energy is spent deciphering speech and I’m exhausted at the end of these events.
Anyways. I have been releasing a lot of music lately. Below is a track I wrote with my good friend Chai for an extraction game.

The Other Websites have started to rot my brain, which has inspired me to start using cohost as an alternative. Cohost reminds me of the days of tumblr when exploring the internet was fun.
I wanted to share one of my favorite tracks I've written this year as a first post. This track was written for the GMTK jam that happened in July. A few months prior to that, I was finishing up my degree in film scoring. Throughout my time at school, I felt like I had to force myself to write for orchestra and become a serious film composer. That attitude was so stupid and damaging!
This jam gave me permission to have fun writing a track and return to a palette that feels more me. It also made me realize how much I enjoy being part of the process of making games.
The first 30 seconds is an intro segment that my friend Chai wrote based off of the rest of the track.
