attempting to make a modular audio node system - for example, there's an audionode_all which plays everything under it and an audionode_layer which follows a property and fades different tracks in or out based on the target value - but crucially the way we're doing it should hopefully allow you to stack them together and use either these custom audio nodes or vanilla audio stream players more or less interchangeably - the interfacing should hopefully be the same.
