I think this a little more with every update to windows that adds another "AI". Finally Microsoft has done it. They've brought about the year of linux on the desktop!
lmao yeah. nothing brought this around in particular, but i really miss feeling like i'm nominally in control of what happens on my computer.
Playing around with virtual machines is easier than ever now! Do it! I have a little linux mint virtual machine running on my computer that I love to hop in and tinker around with every now and then. I don't have a desire for full on desktop Linux for daily use, but because of my job I have become extremely comfortable with playing around with remote Linux servers via the command line and that shit is super fun. Makes you real good at Computer, i'll tell you that much.
Yeah and most linux distros obviously very very light so you can use vmware or whatever to dedicate just like 1 or 2 of your cpu cores and a few gigs of your ram to the vm and it will at the very least run well enough for you to play around and get comfortable.
