Trying to decide between the following, post in comments to help pick!
I've played all except Mother 3, however I do not remember Chronotrigger or Golden Sun very well as it's been 20ish years. I do know I liked them a lot.

I am saying this as someone with an absolute bias for the Mother games: Go play Mother 3. It is one of my favorite games of all time. Nothing against the other games, I Fucking love Chrono trigger and golden sun; Mother 3 is in a league of its own though. Wonderful characters, engaging combat, amazing soundtrack, and an emotional story. Play it, you won't regret it.

I'm leaning towards Mother 3 as well, mostly because I've never experienced it before & have been seeing people discuss it here.
