Blade Runner 2049 Review
Blade Runner 2049 is a great sequel to a classic sci-fi film.
Ryan Gosling's general quiet and serious demeanor works well in a film like this. Harrison Ford is back as Deckard and it's like he never left. Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Ana de Armas all put on great performances, and as usual Leto plays an unlikable creep very well.
The visual style of the film is on point, the city feels alive with light and color. The neon cyberpunk aesthetic has never looked better on the big screen.
The score and sound design are excellent, and are a supurb continuation of what was accomplished with the first film.
