Outer Wilds is neat because [spoilers]
you find out there's an apocalypse, and then you gradually realize it's like 12 apocalypses happening all at once.
Also I like how there's no bad guys, just a bunch of smart guys acting stupid. Every time I casually crash land on a planet I feel big "dudes rock" energy (where dudes = nonbinary space frogs). I also like how the ancient species is all spooky and mysterious until you find out they're also basically reckless idiot explorers just like you.
